The 1 Year Cow Program can be used to finance bred heifers, open and bred cows with at least one year of productivity remaining. These animals can be home-raised, or livestock purchased through our approved markets.
Like all our programs, we offer: Finance the livestock at 100% of market value (subject to a per head lending cap), loan is secured by only the livestock/offspring and a non-pooled security deposit account, competitive interest rate and admin fees, along with a few distinct features.
- Upon the completion of the year term, the cows that were financed can be culled down and the remaining animals rolled into a 3 or 5 year term (depending on the age of the cow) after a payment is made
- Calves are elegible to be financed under the feeder program
- Interest Rate is Prime + 1.0%
